Kyle and Ben started The Russell County Butchery, LLC in Southeast Alabama in 2022. What started as a way to process their own livestock has turned into a multifaceted business that continues to grow. Over the past two years, they have progressed from pure novices to full-service butchers, and are now a USDA inspected slaughter and processing plant in Russell County, AL. Their goal is to bring the best quality meat to their community and provide food security through raising local livestock. From the ground up, they have learned the skills of the trade and have begun developing their own line of products to take their work to the next level. In that vein, Kyle and Ben are proud to present Boomsticks; hand-crafted snack sticks made with premium dry-aged beef, combined with delicious seasonings, and smoked to perfection.
OUR STORY
Boom Sticks is a brand-new take on one of your favorite on-the-go snacks, the meat stick. We start with premium beef that has been dry-aged for two weeks. How do we know it’s dry-aged? Because we killed it ourselves and hung it in our cooler, of course. Every side of hanging beef that walks into our shop is harvested with one goal in mind: to be the best possible beef we can provide. Every cut is hand-trimmed to ensure the highest quality for our main ingredient. Real. American. Beef. Not some unidentifiable excess scraps or vegan soy imitation grown in a lab. Our dry-aged beef from local farmers is what sets our sticks apart. Add real spices and actual smoke flavor from the smokehouse, and you have a beef stick that you are sure to enjoy every bite.
